Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din

A sense of pride and cultural reverence marked the celebration of Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School Pandharpur. The occasion brought students together in an atmosphere of respect for language, heritage, and identity, reflecting appreciation for the richness of Marathi.

The program began with the serene World Peace Prayer, creating a disciplined environment. Students then took a pledge to honor and uphold the Marathi language, reinforcing their responsibility toward preserving their mother tongue. A tribute to the poet Kusumagraj reminded everyone of Marathi’s literary legacy.

Students confidently presented the significance of the day, highlighting the importance of Marathi as the state language. A devotional kirtan emphasized the sweetness of the language, while a mono-act and group dance showcased the vibrancy of Marathi culture.

The celebration concluded on a thoughtful note, leaving students with renewed pride and awareness. Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din became more than a ceremony—it strengthened cultural identity and inspired students to cherish and preserve their language with responsibility.
