Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with great reverence at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School Pandharpur, where students paid tribute to the Father of the Nation through meaningful activities and learning experiences.
The day began with a special assembly featuring songs, skits, and reflections on Gandhiji’s ideals of truth, peace, and non-violence.
To honor his vision of “Cleanliness is next to Godliness,” a CleanlinessDrive was conducted across the campus. Students enthusiastically cleaned classrooms, corridors, and outdoor areas, promoting hygiene, teamwork, and civic responsibility.
The event fostered awareness of environmental care and instilled the values of discipline and collective effort.
The celebration concluded with a pledge to follow Gandhiji’s path of truth and Cleanliness, leaving everyone inspired to contribute to a cleaner, better world.
