International Mud Day Celebration at MIT VGS Pandharpur

The messiness of Mud is delightful, and more than fun. The celebration of Brown Colour Day and Mud Day at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Pandharpur was a delightful and engaging event among preschoolers. The event aimed to reconnect students with nature through various mud-related activities, fostering a sense of creativity and adventure. Every year on June 29, International Mud Day provides a chance to get closer to Mother Earth. Brown signifies the beauty and the importance of our Earth, the motherland. The best learning resource is mud! A great chance to get in touch with nature is Mud Day. The hue brown is symbolic of stability, dependability, and approachability. The day began with an introduction to the importance of outdoor play and the benefits of sensory experiences for childhood development. The highlight of the event was the Mud Play area where children had the opportunity to explore and play in mud pits. This hands-on experience allowed them to connect with nature and understand the texture and properties of mud. Children participated in a mud sculpting activity where they created various shapes and figures using mud, promoting creativity and sensory exploration. Overall, the Mud Day celebration at MIT VGS was a resounding success, providing students with a memorable day of outdoor adventure and sensory exploration. The event successfully promoted the benefits of outdoor play and reinforced the importance of connecting with nature in today’s digital age.
