Sanskrit Day Celebration at MIT VGS Pandharpur

World Sanskrit Day, also known as Vishwa-samskrita-dinam is an annual event focused the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit that incorporates lectures about the language and is aimed to promote its revival and maintenance. It is celebrated on Shraavana Poornima, that is the full moon day of the Shraavana month in the Hindu calendar.

The celebration began with the World Peace Prayer & School Song powered by School Choir . Students chanted the Shlokas like….

गुरूर्ब्रह्मा गुरूर्विष्णुः गुरूर्देवो महेश्वरः । गुरूर्साक्षात् परब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः ।।

With this beautiful shloka’s our program began. Then our few students spoken on importance of Sanskrit Diwas and chanted the many shlokas. also, students recite the poem on Sanskrit Diwas .also students gave a speech on Great Poet Kalidas. At the last we finished our special assembly with the National Anthem.

We, at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools always want to instill the importance of Sanskrit Language in Students.
