Guru Purnima Celebration @MITVGS Pandharpur

The Pre-primary section of MAEER’s Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Wakhari, Pandharpur celebrated ‘Guru Purnima’ on Thursday, 14th July 2022. Guru Purnima is celebrated to pay our respect to our Guru’s & express our gratitude.

Knowledge & education are the basis for the things that can be accomplished in life. Guru provide the power of education, simply the complex & makes abstract concepts accessible to students.

The celebration started with a great enthusiasm with the World Peace Prayer and then animated story of why and how we celebrate Guru Purnima. Teachers explained students the Importance of Education and the role of Guru/teacher in every individual’s life and relationship between a Guru and a Shishya, which has a very importance and have a unique identity to it. Students actively participated in a fun filled activity. Children sang song, shlock & narrated stories about Gurus.

Students prepared a Greeting Cards for their first Guru i.e their parents. Parents were delighted seeing the lovely greeting cards made by their beloved children. Children wear colourful attires & enjoyed a lot. And then they spoke about their teachers and how and what they learn from their teacher and how they like and follow their teachers every word which helped in nurturing a strong teacher – student bond.

The fun activities made the tiny tots learn along with a lot of enjoyment! It was a day full of fun and excitement for the students.
